Go Red for Women!!

On Friday, February 5, the National Wear Red Day is encouraging women to wear the color red to show their support for prevention of heart disease. The goal of the campaign is to reduce coronary heart disease and stroke risk by 25% in 2010.

Heart disease is often perceived as a man's disease, but that fact couldn't be more wrong. "Go Red for Women" is spreading the word to women about how to talk to their doctors, what simple things we can do to avoid and prevent heart disease and how to help others like themselves.

Escaping to a New Year!

Greetings ladies! We are blessed to be here another year and are very excited for the future of Escape2Sisterhood. We started the New Year by traveling to beautiful, historic Charleston South Carolina for a relaxing escape for the weekend. The trip was filled with beautiful sites, entertainment, great food, pampering, and amazing people! This trip was educational and culturally enriching as well! We loved our visit and look forward to returning.

Our Mini-Escapes are designed to help women briefly escape from the daily mental and physical stress encounters and focus on ourselves. The goal is to gain exposure with each new visit- hoping to incorporate each "escape" into our lives then pass on the concept to another sister in need.

We will keep you posted on the location of the next Mini-Escape occurring once each quarter.
